The art of IKEBANA reveals the essence of love for oneself, for one's neighbour and for the whole world. I was lucky to learn this art at its origin: in Japan.
Ikebana harmoniously exists in the modern world, confidently moving from Japanese house "Tokonoma" to office, meeting rooms, reception rooms, even hotel lobbies. Now, various new techniques are used to construct the floral composition, however main ancient principles should be maintained.
The composition is always at the heart of a triangle, symbolizing the three fulcrums: Earth, Sky and Person. Ikebana includes many styles. My favorite is Moribana. All three elements are clearly visible in the composition. However, water additionally plays a key role. The uniqueness of this style lies in the fact that the whole composition is located directly within the water. It is believed that flowers, reflecting their beauty in water, give more energy to space.
Moribana is a noble way to set floral colours in a composition that preserves their freshness for a long time. The flowers for my work are delivered straight from an eco-farm from Holland and are chosen according to my own personalized clear directions and are hand picked.
My work especially enhances and harmonizes hotel lobbies, spa facilities, receptions or general offices, even private homes and many other locations. I additionally compose my floral art works according to the principles of Feng Shui and Zen. Such compositions bring inspiration, creative energy and comfort to your space. Just stop, exhale and contemplate the beauty.
